Renanthera Vietnamensis is a small to medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte or lithophyte species. It blooms on rocks beneath the trees with an erect, ascending woody stem carrying rigid, leathery, apically unequally bilobed, linear- lanceolate,, a conduplicate towards the base leaves, which are held along the upper half in the spring on an axillary, racemose to few branched, 10 to 20 flowered inflorescence carrying well spaced, showy, scentless flowers.
