Renanthera Monachica is a species also called as Spanish Dancing Girl Renanthera. It is a medium-sized, hot growing epiphyte, that blooms on an axillary, long, inflorescence that has tubular bracts, occurring in the late winter and spring with non-fragrant, long-lasting flowers. The flowers have a diameter of up to 4 cm. They are pale orange, quite densely covered with irregular, blood-red dots. The outer and inner whorl flakes are wide open and resemble the lancet blade in shape, which gives a classy look to the plant.
