It has 3 to 5 pendulous, cylindrical, caniculate, fleshy leaves and 5 to 15 flowered inflorescences that bloom in the spring. The flowers on this plant are rust brown with yellowish crinkled edges, and they bloom in clusters with cinnamon-scented flowers. They have a long, forked white lip with spots of dark brown, which gives them a distinctive look.
