Paphiopedilum Liemianum is also called Liem's Paphiopedilum. It is a small to medium-sized, warm-growing terrestrial or lithophyte species. The leaves are thick and leathery and can range in colour from green to purple-brown. The flowers are large and showy and can grow up to 10 cm in diameter. It produces a light yellow-green colour with bold stripes of darker green and maroon or burgundy. The lip of the flower is pouch-shaped, purple in colour.
