Bulbophyllum Carunculatum is also called the Caruncule Bulbophyllum. It is a medium-sized, warm-growing epiphyte species that produces ovoid pseudobulbs. The leaves are narrow and elongated and are arranged in a fan shape at the top of the pseudobulbs. It has a yellowish colour and a shiny, waxy texture. The lip of the flower is highly modified, with a fleshy, tongue-like structure that resembles a fly.
