Brassavola Nodosa, the Lady-of-the-Night Orchid, smells of citrus at night to attract a nocturnal moth. Like other Brassavola, they like similar care to the related Cattleya orchids. It produces green-colored flowers with a large white-colored lip that has the shape of the tube at the base, then opens wide to form a heart-shaped end surface that can reach as much as 5 cm in diameter.
